Overnight Oats

The original swiss recipe involved soaking rolled oats in water, but the recipe has been modernised to the version we know today.

Total Time: 10min + overnight

Serves: 2

Ingredients

  • 1 x small apples
  • ½ cups rolled oats
  • 250ml plain yogurt
  • 100ml apple juice
  • seasonal fruit
  • nuts
  • honey

Method

Step 1
Coarsely grate the apples (including the skin) into a large bowl.

Step 2
Add the rolled oats, yoghurt and apple juice.

Step 3
Stir until all of the ingredients are combined.

Step 4
Wrap the bowl with some clingfilm.

Step 5
Place the bowl in the fridge overnight.

Step 6
Serve as is or with fruits, nuts and/or honey. Enjoy with a cup of Swiss Hot Chocolate.
